Colts News · Comp and High Draw!

The Cup game was held at Szot Park last Thursday where the Pacers and the Colts battled it out for the whole night. The first couple minutes was very fast pace where neither team really dominated the other. High found the back of the net 15 minutes in with a goal from Ethan Langevin assisted by Mamadi Jiana.

Kyle Moreau tallied the second goal for the pacers five minutes later unassisted. The first half ended with High having a comfortable  2-0 lead. Comp brought the intensity out of the break by taking a few shots on net and holding onto the ball. David Girouard finds the back of the net around 10 minutes into the second half with an assist from Gabe Mijal making the score 2-1 with a lot of time left.. The game was even for a while after until a break down occurred in the back for the Pacers leading to Marcel Chavez assisting Colby Carlson to tie the game at 2-2.

Both teams fought hard to try to take the lead but there was no luck and the game ended as a 2-2 draw. High received the cup for the sixth year in a row because they won the last meeting against the Colts. Comp was not mad because they earned a point in the tie and is only one more point away from the playoffs.
