Hockey wins Chicopee Winter Classic

The hockey team had a great weekend, beating both West Springfield and Chicopee High in the Win-ter Classic.  On Saturday the team beat West Side 6-3, and then held on to beat Chicopee 8-7in the finals.  Cam Kagan, Jeremy Lewis, and Garrett Rioplelli led the offense.

Jessikha Ribeiro Wins Holiday Challenge Meet

Senior Indoor Track athlete Jess Ribeiro won the Pentathlon at the Reggie Lewis Indoor Track Center in Boston on Sunday.  Jess took first in three events and narrowly missed national qualifying.  During the meet Jess topped her own school records in the long and high jump.

Boys Baskeball Continue Undefeated

Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, Boys Basketball pulled another win versus Sci-Tech with a score of 69-42 to continue their undefeated season.

Boys Swim Tops Amherst

The boys swim/dive team defeated Amherst at home today by a score of 100-83.  Kevin Marafuga (100 fly), Colin Gagnon (100 Breast), and Nolan Kazalski (diving), all qualified for Western Mass.

Girls Swim Drops Close Meet vs Amherst

The girls swim team lost a heartbreaker vs. Amherst today, losing by only one point 88-87.  Despite the loss, Maureen Pycko (breaststroke), and Sam Thibault (500 free), qualified for Western Mass.  Way to go!

Girls Basketball Win Against Minnechaug

Monday, December 21, 2015, Comp Girls Basketball topped Minnechaug with a final score of 55-37. Leading with the most points, Selenya Gonzalez. Gonzalez finished the game with a total of 16 points. Vargas wins championship at Longmeadow tournament

Jason Vargas won the Longmeadow Early Bird tournament in the 138 pound weight class this past Saturday.The team finished fifth overall.  Charlie Vargas, Brandon Moreau, and Wilfredo David all finished third.  Joe Ramah placed fourth.  The team is back in action Wednesday night in a Tri -meet against  Ludlow and Belchertown.

Boys Basketball Continues Hot Start to the Season

The boys basketball team visited Holyoke and came away with an impressive 65-60 victory against a tough Valley League opponent.  Comp led 33-30 at the half, and pulled away with a strong third quarter, outscoring the Purple nights 19-7 to in the frame.  Bruce Carey led all scorers with 18.  Also in double figures for the

Cam Kagan Reaches 100 Point Milestone

Fresh off a Western Massachusetts State Championship and a State finals appearance the Colts Ice Hockey team is off to a fast start with convincing wins over Easthampton and South Hadley.  Senior Cam Kagan reached the 100 point milestone against South Hadley.  Next up is a game vs. Amherst on Friday night.
